We value our staff highly at Kaleidoscope and their welfare, learning & development and achievement is vital to their happiness at work, which helps to create the family atmosphere of our nurseries and KOOSH clubs. We take great care when recruiting staff to ensure that we provide a good range of age and experience at each site. We have a rigorous selection process that includes DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) checks and all references are followed up. At interview we observe staff interacting with the children so we can be sure we choose people who enjoy children’s company and are dedicated to providing the best possible care for your child. Team work is essential if we are to provide the highest standards of care, education and recreation and we want all our staff to feel part of our team from the start.

 

Because we are committed to providing a happy working environment where all staff feel valued and comfortable we support staff fully from the induction process through to monthly supervisions and annual Performance and Development Reviews. This is reflected in our low staff turnover and many of our team have been with us for over ten years.
